Theresa's Fun Place - A Playground
and Park
We have been blessed by your support of the Theresa Foundation for
over 10 years. As we come upon the holiday season, we embark on this
exciting new project.
As you know, our children with special needs cannot go to just any
playground, nor can their families afford adaptive recreational equipment
for their yards.
One of the great joys of Theresa’s life was movement. She loved
to play and enjoyed the swings and slides ... they brought joy to her
smiling face. There are many like Theresa who need your help.
In response to this need, the Theresa Foundation has accepted the
challenge of renovating the playground at United Cerebral Palsy of Nassau
County and maintaining it for five years. Our goal is to raise $100,000
– our LARGEST undertaking to date.
We cannot do it alone. Every dollar raised will go directly for the
renovation of the playground, new adaptive equipment and maintenance
for the next five years. Theresa’s Fun Place will serve over 240
children on a daily basis.
We are asking you to stand by our side by making a pledge or a donation
at this time. The enclosed envelope outlines the levels of commitment
or you can make a one time donation.
We share the mission of serving children with special needs with love
and pride, and join forces to make “THERESA’S FUN PLACE”
a reality.
Sincerely Yours,
Susan and Vincent Russo and Family
