What Can You Do To Help?

You can assist us in our mission to improve the quality of life of children with disabilities by supporting the Foundation with your contributions.

Established in 1992 in memory of Theresa Alessandra Russo, the Foundation is dedicated to assisting children with physical, mental or emotional impairment. The Theresa Foundation provides financial support for individual needs, education programs and organizations serving children with disabilities.

• The Foundation purchases equipment and supplies designated for the remediation and rehabilitation or children with disabling or challenging condition.
  
  
• The Foundation grants funds to programs and organizations whose objectives are to support and enable children with special needs to attain the highest level of educational and intellectual achievement possible.
  
  
• By soliciting funds benefiting children with special needs such as physical, mental or emotional impairment, the Foundation is able to designate cash awards, subsidies or scholarships.

Vision

Because children are our future, we believe in nurturing each child. An important aspect of every child is their artistic expression.

A society without art is a society without soul. Art enables us to express our inner thoughts, fears, joys and sadness. Art is a powerful form of communication, whether it be written, danced, painted or sculpted. Our artistic expression tells us who we are, what is important to us, and how we relate to the world around us.

The Theresa Foundation has a vision of the world where art and artistic expression are as important to adults as they are to children. We believe in a world where every child, regardless of ability or challenging conditions, is free to communicate through any art form available.
