Lee Stockner, creator of the "Music Box Method" of special needs piano instruction, has 13 years of private piano teaching experience, with 5 of those years spent with autistic children and adults. Lee continues to customize piano lesson plans for students ranging from ASD, to ADHD, and Down's Syndrome. The "Music Box Method" was created while working at the Genesis School for Autism and the Nassau BOCES Rosemary Kennedy School. Lee considers himself incredibly lucky because he gets to "combine his two passions in life (music ed and special ed)" and help some of the most unlikely students become musicians!
